Leoni Malton

The most delicious cafe and the home of coffee in Malton. One of my very first website and animation projects, Leoni Coffee House.

During lockdown of 2020 (when everywhere had shut) Simon, the owner of Leoni, wanted to create a set of animations and an interactive website where his customers could feel as though they were visiting the cafe once again. From his days working and travelling in America, Simon recalled websites full of motion and hover effects - which he wanted to base his own website on.

I designed a minimalistic website design for the cafe, featuring various animations controlled by the website visitor; The cafe door opening, an envelope revealing a letter, coffee with Leoni’s contact details, and a map of where to find the cafe.
